Have you ever heard the proverb about how you grow a tree for only ten years, but you have to grow men over a hundred?

I guess not then. In English it means that human progress is tied with education and that you have to nurture those skills and talents over time for the betterment of everyone. Which is why I've brought myself here.

There is a time to say goodbye to the military and lead a quieter life, like others I know. Because you can't stay in that kind of environment forever. I loved studying when I was in university and returning the favour is probably the best to do. Plus there will be new people to meet and new technologies to develop. It's a really conducive atmosphere to learning, collaboration - oh.

Really, there's nothing for me to lose. I like having the free time too. Makes it easier to catch up on reading.

Enharmonia... hm. Interesting.

Oh, as for the data - in battle we collect lots of types of data regarding the battle such as the physical state of the combatants, tactics and attacks used, data about the physical environment et cetera. I'll be teaching how to look at it, optimise it and generally play around with it. Some call it 'nerdy' but I'd like to think it was 'curiosity with numbers.'

You saw the odd connection, too? [FINALLY SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS...]

... These aren't for senseless battles, are they?

What's not to notice? It's a curious name.

And as for what constitutes a senseless battle... I guess it's not in my place to say because I don't actively participate in it. But if people need my assistance and I can be swayed to do so, then perhaps there is a greater meaning behind it.

Hm? A curious name... that is new to me. Most people seem to find it a strange name. I still can't fathom why.

I see. Then you feel that you wish to... help people? That is a good way to use data. [Instead of using it to, say, corrupt a Pokemon like, you know, Genesect.]

Well, most people aren't named after a single letter for one thing... though it's not my place to say, really. It sounds like enharmonia and that is all I need to know. "He who knows that enough is enough will always have enough."

As for helping people... I suppose so. I was never a fighter. I can't kill people. So I strive towards helping those who are capable of bringing the world to a better place.
